USB Interface (5-gigabit or 10-gigbit):

Problem:

the KVM will power my razer huntsman keyboard but will not actually let it work. Have tried plugging into HID ports & the 3.2 ports.

For some reason it works on PC2, but not PC1.

are you sure you haven’t set the USB follows hotkey?

I have an AV access KVM, running a laptop and a desktop. I also had a Razer Keyboard, that would be powered on but randomly become unresponsive.
I either needed to restart the KVM or switch to my third unused position and back, in order to regain response.
The problem seemed to be the keyboard. Switched to an older logitech and haven’t experienced the problem since.

I know that is no help, but might clue you in. My worries are, that the Razer keyboard tries to communicate with its native app on a desktop and that screws the pooch.

if that’s true, it’ll still work via usb3 port.

I was thinking since he said it still works in the PC2 port but not PC1, it might be set to follow. That wouldn’t explain why the HID ports are not working though.
