i have nzxt hale82 850w power and im planning to buy one 7970 for now. when i buy my second card, can the psu handle it? or would i need to buy a better psu?
here is myother components:
AMD FX-8320
ASUS M5A99X Evo R2.0
8gb ram
128 gb ssd
2 tb hdd
h100 cpu cooler
As long as you don't UBER clock your cpu, and both gpus. they should be fine.

It's more than enough IMO. The least amount of wattage I'd use in this situation is 750W
Even with UBER clocks, that would be fine. People usually have a good 100-300W of unused power. Like me, running a single 680 4GB on an 850W PSU.
Like others have said, totally fine. You will be able to overclock your system quiet a bit.

uberclock meaning 200mhz or more right?
Uberclocking; you could take those 7970s to 1500mHz/7000mHz with a 6.0gHz CPU on an 850W PSU.
you could probably do that on a decent 750Watt PSU, 850 should be fine.
