Yeah, I can agree with this.
The vague wording of the bill leaves it open to TOO MUCH interpretation. By making content networks liable, it opens up a pandora’s box on censorship.
The mere proposal of the bill is already stirring fear for any of those companies based in the US, or dealing with customers in the US. Whereas the GDPR makes consumer rights more clear, this bill would limit consumer rights because of how broad the definition of things stated in the bill are.

This was the entire point of the bill. Packaged with a family friendly name so they can sell it. Plenty of other bills with newspeak titles that are used for nefarious reasons.
