So I bought a WiFi antenna with a longer leadā€¦it had a metallic base - so I stuck it to a poleā€¦

It is funny how very small differences can have a huge impact.

Since I was now relying on the WiFi - I moved the WiFi router so it was away from the other computers in the room - and nearer the door - and placed it on a metal filing cabinet.

Another 100Mbps and 200Mbps for uploads.

Which is an insane difference for moving a router less than a foot in distance.
