TRX50 Board Asrock WS or Asus Sage?

I am looking to build a system based around a 7960x threadripper and a 4060 ti gpu as well as 2-3 camera frame grabber cards. I was looking at the msi slim 2 slot 4060 ti gpu. I want to know peoples opinion on the offering from either camp and the pros and cons to these boards. I need 16 lanes for the gpu or 8 would work fine too. I will be using 8 lane frame grabbers.
I will only be using 1 nvme ssd a 1 or 2tb samsung 990. Looking at seasonic gx-1300 psu I dunno if thats way over kill or not? Should I go Arctic 4u-m cooler or Noctua NH-D9 TR5-SP6 4U. I will be using a Rosewill RSV-L4500U Case.

CPU Threadripper 7960x
GPU: msi 4060 ti slim
Ram V- Color r-dimm 64GB 6000MHZ kit
PSU Seasonic GX-1300
Frame Grabbers Euresys
Coolers: Artic 4u-m or NH-D9 TR5-SP6 4U
Case RSV-L4500U

Any feedback or opinion on this build are welcomed.

I have the 7960x on the Asrock board, worked without hickups.

It “fits” but one of the fans interferes with the VRM-heatsink/fans:

I have the PX-1300 in my system, most I have seen pulled from the wall was 850-ish Watts.

I’m looking at the same boards, for me it comes down to the PCIe slots with x16, and the spacing.

ASUS:
PCIe1 5/x16
PCIe2 5/x16
PCIe3 5/x8
PCIe4 4/x4
PCIe5 4/x16

gen 5: 2* x16, 1* x8
gen 4: 1* x16, 1* x4

ASROCK:
PCIe1 5/x16
PCIe2 4/x4
PCIe3 5/x16
PCIe4 5/x8
PCIe5 4/x8

gen 5: 2* x16, 1* x8
gen 4: 1* x8, 1* x4

So on the asus, I can stick a 40 series / current gen gpu in the last slot at x16, and still have 2 slots spare at x16 for 50 series / gen 5 GPU(s) .

Only if you have nothing plugged in underneath the bottom slot
The asus wrx80 had those having downwards which made so much more sense.
Good to know that the asrock board means most gous only block apcie4 slot while the asus just gives you more space.
