Trouble with ports on built computer

Hey everyone,

I bought all the parts during black Friday last November and when the parts arrived I built the computer without a problem. I recently tried to plug a second screen into my computer and realized the motherboard DVI, VGA, and the HDMI ports don't work. Also on the top of my case only one of the four usb 3.0 ports work. I used my laptop on the screens to check for faulty ports or cables and they worked fine. I have audio cables for speakers plugged into my computer and work fine, it is just the ports mentioned that do not work. I am unsure on what to do to make them work or find what the problem could be. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to use the display ports (DVI, VGA and HDMI) from your GPU IO - not your motherboard IO.
As for the USB ports, assure you have all the motherboard headers plugged in correctly.

Oh wow it turns out parts of the case were in the way of the GPU. The cables weren't connecting completely with the ports, thanks! Now to just figure out the 3 of 4 USB ports not working lol
