For my first build I got the CM Storm Trooper. When I stick a 2.5in drive into the hotswap bay at the top nothing happens. Do i need to dig around the case to find the sockets for it, or are the plugs the 4pin power and the sata coming out. Do you think I should try replacing the cable, or is there something im missing.
First make sure that your motherboard supports Hot Swap, if it does support hotswap go into the bios and make sure that hot swap is enabled. by default this feature is turned off.
I turned on all the hotswap drives, but the only thing that appears is my main drive. There seems to be no activity from the hard drive when plugged in or not.
Does intel rapid store have anything to do with this? I might not be enabling it correctly. I have a Maximus VI Formula board.
