I got a Trojan Horse on my computer. I have McAfee saying that it is quarantining the infected files. what should I do? I want to make sure to get rid of this thing but I don't know how to.

I would suggest using a sperical cow and clam to remove the trojan horse in a live session, that sounds like a zoo, but it's actually a very thorough and safe way to solve your problem.
well its not called a "Trojan Horse" its just a "Trojan" or "keyloger", but you should know that mcafee is one of the worst anti viruses out.
To fix your pc you need to download http://www.malwarebytes.org/ this program is the best out there. it will remove all viruses from your pc. However, it does not do every thing you will need one more program http://usa.kaspersky.com/downloads/tdsskiller this will clean up any Rootkits. (rootkits are diffrent from viruses)
and plz for the love of Sparta get a new Antivirus.
As a general rule, if your antivirus detects something, at this point your PC is full of stuff the thing didn't detect. You should really learn how to use your PC without getting any malware (without anti-viruses).

For paid AV I recommend kaspersky and you only need one of the Standard Protection products.
Also if your not using firefox or chrome switch to one of them and download adblock plus.
