Tritton AX 180 Drivers and static noise

Hey. I just got a pair of tritton AX 180s and when i started to use it, there was a quiet(ish) static sound that i can hear. Its not a problem when playing games or watching videos but when I'm using my computer and there's no sound, the static sound gets quite annoying over time. I thought that getting new drivers could fix this but I couldn't find any drivers (even on the tritton website!). There was also a problem with the audio coming from the headphones being really loud but i fixed it by a mess of pc restarts, unplugging but i fixed it by putting the windows volume at 1%.

Do you use your front jacks?

If yes, try to plug the headset into the rear jacks.

No I use the USB port on my motherboard. If it is of any importance my motherboard is the Asus z87 pro.

Its very odd. When I put in the 3.5mm jacks in, the computer detects it and the buzzing stops but i dont hear any sound.
