Triple monitor headache!

Okay so Im having a hell of a time setting up my 3 monitors and then getting eyefinity to run. I can get all three of my monitors in the extended display setting and it all works great. As soon as I go to restart my computer it goes back to using the middle monitor and shuts off the side monitors. I go into display settings and it shows my two side monitors grayed out. I go into the crimson drivers and it only shows as I have on display plugged in. The only way to fix this is to unplug the monitors and plug them each in one by one but as soon as I restart is does the same thing again.

I havent even got to try eye finity with the three monitors cause I can get past this stage

Now as soon as I plug in even a second monitor I get issues....for fucks sake!

Fixed it.....no idea how. It just did. Thank goodness

Well once again I restart my computer and it only detects one monitor. Can anyone help???

The only thing I figured out now is if you unplug one of the monitors when its booted to windows and back in it will go back to eyefinity with all the monitors on.

What GPU do you have and how are they all connected?

FuryX the middle ultra wide is display port the side monitor is HDMI and the other side is HDMI going to a display port adapter

Why not use all DP? I assume the three ultra wide monitors are the same as there are not many out there.

Sorry should have stated the two side monitors are only standard 16:9 and they only have HDMI out

They have only HDMI on them? No DVI or VGA? I personally have never been able to make HDMI work with eyefinity reliably, either it forgets the eyefinity settings or it wants to run weird scaling and letterboxes the desktop in the middle of the display.

They have VGA but my Furyx doesnt have VGA

How exactly are they hooked up then? Are you using some sort of Displayport to HDMI active adapter?

Still not as bad as Nvidia's idea of triple monitor surround.

turn off eyefinity before restarting

I believe the one is a passive adapter

I have forgot to do so and it caused the GPU to continue to run bytecode as if it was in eyefinity. Cazy part it still tried to run as if it was in eyefinity when I changed operating systems.

Even if I'm not in eye finity when I restart it still will only detect one monitor when I restart. Now another issue I have is I get screen tearing on the side monitors when gaming but not the center......the plot thickens

The lack of detection may be a Widows issue. Do your monitors have a sleep mode?

Yah they go to sleep
