Tracer Rogue Status Report 10/17/16:
I'll be uploading a video of my pc build log later today.
Massive Project I'll be doing over the next several days: Creating Reshade Presets for games using Reshade 3 [It came out recently after months of development.]
What's different about Reshade 3?: GUI interface while the game is running as a transparency so you can see your changes live and realtime which is pretty awesome. I'm going to start with Fallout 4 [The reshade I had got for it wasn't that great] and see what I can do with it. I'll post the results of what I'm able to do and impressions of it in my next status report. I have an interesting idea for a reshade preset I want to do for Max Payne 3.
I'll be watching Agents of Shield, Westworld, and Elementary. I'll post non spoiler thoughts about the episodes I watch in my next status report.
Work on novella is going well. I've written 36 pages so far. I combined Chapters 6, 7, and 8 into one chapter as. They are all now in chapter 6. These chapters work better as one chapter versus 3 separate chapters. I started work on Chapter 7 I'm not as far as I want to be but I'm working toward finishing it in November. A novella is typical 70 pages long so It is doable in my opinion. I wrote the outline for chapter 7 yesterday. I should be able to finish writing chapter 7 by this coming Sunday.

Tracer Rogue Status Report 10/18/16:
Agents of Shield
3rd episode. I'll be honest. This season so far has been pretty good. I like the actor who is Ghost Rider. Did you know the orignal Ghost Rider comics were in the old west but Marvel changed the name of that comic to Phantom Rider. They were different so yeah it worked. The show coming on at 10 allowed for the show to get darker. I hated the 1st season of Agents of Shield but luckily each season it got better. This episode was interesting to watch even though I knew how it was going to play out. A probably with the show and a lot of west shows is that there characters you know that if they get in danger they will most likely live. Minor grip but it is true.
Favorite Line of the episode Spoiler: Hell No We're about to kill May.
Westworld
I'm really enjoying this show. It's very well made. A thought about the opening theme song: I noticed at first it starts off as an almost mechanical song but as it goes it becomes more complex and comes alive in a way. What did I think of episode 3: Overall it was great. Learning more about the backstory of the park was interesting and finding out about someone that is playing a role on what is happening at the park with the host. This show is subtle with clues. There are hints that something is about to happen and one host is likely going to be apart of the coming event. Looking forward to the next episode.
Elementary
I didn't get to watch it due to time. I'll watch it today after work and provide a recap. I chose to play with Reshade 3 with the time I had left for the day.
Work on Novella
I'm working on writing the first part of chapter 7 page 36. I'm writing a bit that leads to an action scene. Flow is important so I'm crafting what I write to flow natural into the action. It's not going to suddenly happen out of no where. No there are clues and hints that it is coming. The chapter will be as long as it needs to be. There will be two action parts but the reason behind them are inverse in a way. I'm estimating the chapter could be 5 to 8 pages long typed. It depends on how much I need to tell the story for that chapter.

Tracer Rogue Status Report 10/19/16:
Elementary
Season 5 2nd Episode. You know when I first watched this show I was worried they were going to have Watson fall in love with Sherlock. Fortunately that never happened. I like that Sherlock treats Watson as an equal and values her thoughts on a case. The other thing I like about Elementary is that Sherlock isn't the only smart person in the room. The cases they solve for the most part are fun to watch to see how they solve it. This episode was entertaining to watch because of a mystery of an important object. Clyde also made an appearance. Clyde is a turtle. Here is a gif of him from an earlier season:
Interesting fact: Johnny Lee Miller and Benedict Cumberbatch acted together in a Frankenstein play where they would trade roles playing Frankenstein and the Monster each day:
Another interesting fact is that they both watch each others shows were they play Sherlock.
I did my first livestream with my new pc build. I played minecraft. Here is a recording of the livestream:
I formatted my old mine rig, installed Windows 8.1 and packed it to be shipped off today.
I had planned on writing in my novella but a personal matter happen that I hadn't planned on. I'll get to writing tonight while also watching TeamPGP.

Tracer Rogue Status Report 10/20/16
I shipped out my old main rig by UPS yesterday.
Writing in my novella is going very well. I'm still in chapter 7 but I'm writing page 40 which is really awesome to have reach. You see a novella is on average 70 pages so I only have to write 31 more pages [I'm including page 40 since I'm still writing it]. Granted each chapter will be as long as it needs to be so it could be the novella could end up longer than 70 pages.
I also watched TeamPGP. Found out that @wendell had watched and liked my build log. I was mostly listening to the livestream since I was busy writing my novella.
Today I'm going to see what stable overclock I can get on my CPU. I am going to record the process. I'm also going to record a video talking about the performance of the machine so far. I'm also going to do a livestream showing what you can do with Reshade 3, if I have time.
Work is going to be busy today.

Tracer Rogue Status Report 10/21/16
I overlcocked my i7 6700k to 4.4 stable. I tried 4.5 - 4.7 but none of them were stable. I recorded a video about the overclocking and how my pc was performing so far. I'll post that video next week after I edit it.

Tracer Rogue Status Report 10/22/16
Good news I found out there is a way to adjust the settings in Reshade 3 of the shaders. My fallout 4 looks a lot better now than the initial preset I did. I'll be doing another livestream to show how to do that using Deus Ex Mankind Divided.
I haven't finish writing chapter 7 or page 40 yet. Still working on it. I'm working on writing a somber scene which if I don't write carefully can come off as forced or cheesy and I don't want that.
I'll be joining in the community run podcast The Lan today. Should be fun.
I'll be working today. Working on the weekends isn't fun but I've got to do it to keep up in the law-firm and save up money for a new car. I won't be working the whole day though.

Tracer Rogue Status Report 10/23/16:
I participated in The LAN podcast. That was pretty fun.
I wrote one of the action scenes in Chapter 7 of my novella. It wasn't that long to write just tricky to write out the wording.
In my apartment there is an odd electric beeping that happens every few minutes. I've tried to find the source but have yet to locate it.
I'm going to play Overwatch later today and get to rank 35.

Tracer Rogue Status Report 10/24/16:
On the novella side, I've been having a writers block on what to write. Words aren't coming to me. The whole time I've been writing I haven't been reading any books. I decided that I should change that to see if it helps me get over my writers block.
Today I will be doing a livestream to cover how to adjust the shaders inside the gui for Reshade 3. It won't be a long livestream probably 30 minutes at most.
I'll be watching Westworld and Elementary Today so I'll be providing a impression of the episode for them tomorrow. They will not be spoiling.
Work will be busy. I may not post on the forums till after work today. Which for today means after 6:00 PM.

Tracer Rogue Status Report 10/25/16:
Westworld Episode 4
I like the Man in Black. Everytime he is on screen and talking has me thinking about what he is saying. Episode 4 moved things further along and I think we are going to see some interesting development happening. William is a pretty interesting character. I'm very curious as to what role he has to play in the series. I have my own theory but I'll keep that to myself. Ed Brubaker helped write this episode. Which explains alot. Ed Brubaker is one the great comic book writers. He gets characters and dialogue.
I'd love to see Greg Rucka and Ed Brubaker team up to write something together again. They wrote Gotham Central Together which was a great limited run series about the Gotham City Police.
I started the DLC for Dark Souls 3.

I didn't work on my novella I decided to take a two 2 day break to read and not think about it.
I'm reading:
It's book 10 in the series. The series is not perfect. Flaws: Dialogue isn't always clear. Recaps. The way spells are cast is interesting. The book isn't even in the genre I'm writing for my novella. I do find it entertaining though. I read the series based off a recommendation by Amazon and the first book was on sale. I'm not sure how book 10 will play out just yet but it'll be entertaining to read.
I'll be watching Elementary and Agents of Shield today and will provide my thoughts about them.

I played some of the DLC yesterday, I'm liking it so far.

I was impressed with the enemies. I never thought fighting in open spaces could be so dangerous. I had to abandon my fashion souls outfit. I have ideas as to what is going on with the story in the dlc and I'm very curious as to see if I'm right or not.
Tracer Rogue Status Report 10/26/16:
I had planned on watching Elementary and Agents of Shield yesterday but I ended up doing other things. So I'll be Watching two episodes of Agents of Shield today and one episode of Elementary today. I'll provide my thoughts on them tomorrow.
I played the Division yesterday. Ubisoft released a major overhaul patch. It changed a lot. It made it so you can play the pve and still get the best gear in the game. I enjoyed playing the game for the first time in months. I was getting solid loot. The enemies were tough but balanced. If I played it smart I could beat them by myself. I'm definitely going to be play the game more. If you happen to play the game or get the game and need someone to play with. Let me know, I'd be glad to play with you.
I attended a meeting for the coming episode of The LAN. It was a very productive meeting.
Today I will attempt to write in my novella. I'm hoping that by me taking a break for two days and doing some reading that I'll be able to write. I've actually set up the webpage for my pen name and gotten business cards. I've shared the pen name with a few people. I'll let the rest of you know what it is when the novella is copyrighted.

Have you considered creating your own website for this sort of thing? (Not that its not fine here, but learning to do that sort of thing and having more control over it is a good thing)

I hadn't thought of doing that to be honest. It is an interesting idea to consider. I'll need to think about it. I'll decide by the end of the day.
