TR 3970x + G.Skill 256GB kit + Zenith II Extreme Alpha : is 3600MHz achieveable?

Hello! I happened to obtain a PC which was built with the following specs:
-Zenith II Extreme Alpha
-Threadripper 3970x
-G.Skill (8x32GB) 256 GB 3600MHz kit (the one used in Level1Tech’s video)

I recently came across the video demonstrating how 3600 MHz was achieved on that system, but that one was using a 3990x. I was wondering if it was possible to achieve 3600 MHz on the same setup, but with a 3970x?

Thank you!

Not very likely 2933mhz is about it for Threadripper in most cases.

I could do 3600 w/ my 128GB kit, but the most I can get out of the 256GB kit is 2933.

Thank you folks! One more thing: if I do attempt to get close or even achieve 3600 MHz on this system, what else shall I modify, apart from the frequency? Voltage?

3990x, Zenith II Extreme Alpha, G.Skill 256GB kit – running 3600 MHz now… Maybe a BIOS setting? I had to set mine for a fabric clock of 1800 during setup – the Extreme Alpha board came with PBO enabled by default.

Soc, but there is a definite line you should not cross

Thank you very much for everybody!
One more question: will I be able to, and should I tune back the 3600Mhz sticks to 3200Mhz? If so, will it be stable, and provide the maximum performance I can get out of this system?
How do I set it to 3200?

Also, would the timing difference cause problems? The official 3200 256GB set has timings of CL16-18-18-38, but the kit I have has CL18-22-22-42. Is that a problem?
