Tower Window on the Wrong Side :(

Here's the build, if you care to look and give advice (budget isn't very flexible, and I have that tower b/c I will be moving around a lot): http://pcpartpicker.com/p/36u74

but that's not really the point of this. Every single windowed tower I've seen has the window on the left side of the tower, but I am right-handed and so would like my mouse on the right and tower on the left (not stereotyping right-handeds, just my preference). But that would more or less render the nice view useless to me as it would be facing away. Any way to fix this? I know with this particular tower, switching out just the side panels should be easy enough, but can I flip all the insides over to the other side as well?

Thanks

Well... I can't speak for all cases... but for the Define R4... just flip it over and put the window on whatever side you want it... cause it's symmetrical... I'd imagine most case designers thought of this... but I can't say it's all inclusive...

just flip the side panels

but in all seriousness the atx standard is to have the motherboard tray on the right side of the case, and to my knowledge there isn't too many cases around that differ from it, you could try finding a case that could be flipped upside down but i wouldn't expect to find much

if you're up to modding you could get a btx case and i believe it should fit if you drill your own standoffs

Well what would you see the back of the motherboard tray and the wiring?

haha, hey it works if you don't mind looking at a mild glow and a bunch of cables :D

Actually, it's not hopeless.  I found this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163243

What do you think?

ouch... $150 and it's umm... got a good personality from the front... but I didn't even know they made left handed ATX case... I'ma look now

AZZA Genesis 9000:

It has a reversible MB tray. I'll sell you one for $80+shipping.

ok.... I know... I know... it's $400....

but it doesn't look like a trainwreck

can you sell 10000 of them? *(limit 9999 per customer) :P

I don't get the joke...

The MB tray is removable, but I don't see that it can be rotated.

it has an orientation preference on the drop down menu...

i thought it was kind of odd they had a "limit 9999 per customer".... seemed kind of ridiculous... my bad

Ya, see! Some good about that case. The Azza that is. I would love to have a caselabs.

Awesome case, but it's a little big for what I need

So, it's looking pretty useless for me. I'd rather not get a different case, especially a more expensive one. The reason I want the Vengeance C70 is because I'm going to college in Japan in a couple months, but I plan on making long-enough visits in the States to my fellow PC gaming friends that I want something I can transport without worry of breakage. Also, I might be moving around the dorms somewhat frequently, or at least frequently enough to be willing to invest in a strong case, like the C70.

Actually, is there anything else out there that would work equally well as the C70 at a lesser cost? I realize part of the price is undoubtedly just for the Corsair badge, so there could be something out there cheaper that performs the same task, minus the sails.

Haha, yeah, me too. Hence the selling. The thing is a bit of a haus. I'll be putting it up on the Buy/Sell/Trade forum eventually, but I thought I'd throw it out there just in case you were interested.

My thoughts on the that is that you might consider changing form factors from atx to like a itx. Intel most definitely has smaller more portable builds but may cost alittle more. I am not really a intel builder but i sure someone here can help you.

If any of you guys were actually interested in a tower that can switch sides, I finally found one--http://www.originpc.com/gaming/desktops/millennium/ The Origin Millennium. However, I don't think you can buy just the tower--you need to buy the whole thing.
