Top 5 best GPU's for i5

title says it all. I'm looking for the top five best GPU's for an Intel core i5. I'm fine with any PSU upgrades to support any recommendations, BTW I do a lot of gaming (like mine craft and Gmod.) and audio editing  (FL studios, abelton.) help plz :~]

anything from a 750 to a titan from a 260x to a 295x2

Whatever the most powerful GPU you can afford is.

R9 290 and GTX 970 are the first t spring to mind. If you're looking at 4k the 290 or 290x will be better, but fr 1080p the 970 is better but also more expensive.

just the best ( i could care less about "price")

in the future, i could upgrade to a 4k monitor BUT I could. that doesn't mean i will

well, if you want the best of the best for 1080 it's probely a 980, a little bit over kill but whatever, if you want someting that can handle 4k decent get a 290x or maybe even a 295x2. Though keep in mind that 980 draws a lot less power, so PSU upgrade wont be needed, and you'll save a bit of money on the power bill over the AMD side, They'll also run much much cooler. But for 4k AMD is the king.

The power supply I'm getting is a corsair cx 600w. Will it be stong enough to support both cards?

600W will be plenty for a 980 or a 290X but not a 295X2 which is a dual GPU card.

I was looking at the sapphire Vapor X,

And I was very interested in getting it when it came out but I had no use for it At the time. Would this card be alrigut?

If money is no object Quad GTX 980 will be it

Or wait and get quad 390x/980 Ti (or whatever the GM 200 chip is called)

So much power.lol I only need one GPU cuz im doing a mini ITX build and the asus maximus VI impact only has one slot soooo. Go figure

Basicly for an haswell i5 any gpu would be fine.

I made one small change to your build which was a solid build except for the SSD ..., the kingston SSDnow is very slow ... this Adata SX-900 SSD is much faster and only $10 more

And the review for the drive

Thx for the recommendations, i just want the best, I don't want to upgrade or anything like that in the future.

I recommend a 970 I have the ssc one and it's an absolute Beast.

Well then i would wait for the R9-390X

Yeah, but how much will that be?

Sounds like something exspensive, (not to mention the R9 290X2) either way, both are overkill for the build I want to do, I was thinking about dropping the R9 290 and the 4K monitor for the GTX 980 and a dual monitor setup, not sure about this yet, the dual monitor setup is nice to have BUT I'm passing up a 4K monitor

4k is really pointless at this time imo.
