To aftermarket or not to aftermarket, I might have no money either way

Hey so My rig is a "Oh shoot my 2in1 bricked and i need a computer to write with a.s.a.p." build. It has an AMD 7670k on stock cooling.

I do light emulator play and other linux games. (I'm running mint 18 for now)

Would it be worth it for me to get the Cryorig H7 or should i just leave it on the stock cooler?

My size restrictions are about 6" (155mm) H and about 4 1/4" (105mm) from semi tall ripjaws ramsticks (not mgl420blazeit tall) to the exhaust fan. Or basically the size of the h7.

Insight would be appreciated.

If you want to save money, the stock cooler should be perfectly fine.

If you value a degree of having your rig be quiet, or plan on doing overclocking, then investing in an aftermarket solution may not be a bad idea. After all, the great thing about investing in cooling is that, more often than not, the unit can transfer to a future/different rig.
