Hey everyone, I have the option to upgrade to an EVGA 780 TI SC but I have also been offered a GTX Titan Black for the same price. Should I go for A or B?
if you can get them for the same price then grab the Titan black offcoure.
More Vram, slightly more texture fill rates. But in the main the cards will perform arround the same, only more vram on the titan black for the same price could never hurt.
My only concern is that it doesn't seem to be quite as powerful as the 780TI from what research I have done so far.

well in my opinnion they are basicly the same cards, only a 780Ti comes with some aftermarket cooling solutions like the ACX from EVGA.
I think I will go for the Titan Black for the price it's at. Thanks for your Help MisteryAngel.
yeah i would do that, if you could get them for the same price, especialy if you ever think about highres surround gaming, then the 6 gb vram never hurts. I was looking up for some benchmarks.

I dont know how accurate they currently are, but the do look legit to me.
Here's one more for you then. I'm replacing my 23" LG 1080p monitor and I was looking at getting either an ASUS 29" 21:9 at 2560x1080 for the immersion in games and films, that or a 27" ASUS 2560x1440 monitor for the resolution jump. Any help would be appreciated.
Well for my understanding (haven't done any kind of research of Nvidias GPUs), but the 780ti and titan black is the same GPU. However Titan black have more memory (6GB vs 3GB), but is also clocked lower. If you can reach the same speeds as an 780 ti you should experience the same if not better performance. However I would not pay for the tblack over an 780 ti.
Even at the same price?
well in my opinnion 1440p does look alot better, i got a 27 inch 1080p, and it looks okay, but 1440p looks much better.
i personaly for gaming would grab a 27 inch 1440p if i was you. ☺
Grab the titan black for the same price realy. if you ever wanne go crazy on 3 monitor surround setup you can do it with that titan black with 6gb vram.
For the same price, yes.
EDIT: If the titan black is priced the same as the 780 ti, I would get the titan black and overclock it
the 780ti has the double precision performance crippled and 3gb vram less than the titan black. If you want to play games, render and play with 3d modelling. Then go for the titan black. If you want to just play games, get the 780ti
