Tiny M-ITX build, Raijintek Mentis

Just finished my new mini ITX HTPC / Living Room gaming rig, loving it's tinyness.

SPEC:

CPU: i5 4690k - stock
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 Mini
PSU: Corsair CXM 500W
RAM: Hyper X 8gb DDR3 1866 Mhz
MB: Gigabyte B85i
SSD: Samsug Evo 250GB
CPU Cooler: Corsair H55 all in one water cooler.

I've found using the one fan as an intake for the radiator works a charm, CPU temp sits at 62 - 63 under load from Intel burn test, and GPU at around 79 - 80 under Valley benchmark, yeah it's warm, but it'll maitain that gaming all day long, with no issues what so ever.

I've attached a couple of badly taken photos below.

Looks neat!
How is temps being so crammed?

Thanks, It's honestly not as bad as I thought, 60 - 63 CPU at load with Prime95 and 79 - 80 GPU at load with Valley / 1080p gaming and will just sit there all day. I may possibly add some more side panel ventilation holes at some point, but at stock it performs surprisingly well.

Did you make the case yourself, or am I just now recognising it?
How is cable management in such a small case?

Case specs here: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/LP/raijintek-metis.php

Cable management is "challenging" hence only pics with the side panel on :) its a bloody mess behind there, but it all fits.

I hate working in small cases. How do you do it?

I was forced due to the available space in the TV cabinet, this is the first really small build I've done, worked with a Bit Fenix prodigy but that was damn spacious compared to this.

I think you could've gotten a way better result if you had made a custom case for the cabinet. Not hating but you could almost fit two of those there.
I have a Prodigy as well. Only problem with it for me was my PSU so long I had to bend my cables pretty severely to route them though the holes.
Props for the cable management and watercooling loop!

You may be right, but my fabrication skills are severely lacking, I do like the idea of using a test bench as a base and using a cabinet compartment as a "case" with custom cooling etc. Maybe one day, cheers for the feedback :)

No problem! I love builds like this :)
I want to do a purple build now. Perhaps black and purple as I have only seen it a couple of times.

I enjoy the colour purple too. Purple components seem to be hard if not impossible to find stock, so custom paint would be the way to go, but I'm still terrified of doing that, so just went with $6 LEDs :) .

Things on my to do list.
-Get some metallic purple paint.
-Paint my EVGA GTX 770 ACX. Just the gold part and maybe the heatsink.

-Make a custom front plate for my Asus Z87I Pro like the ones found on Sabertooths and Gryphons. Just so I don't have to paint the motherboard.
-Paint my Noctua L9i to matching colours.
-Cable sleeving.
-Make a custom case so I can display the parts while still being portable.

Will probably take me months but I will PM you if I make a build log :)
