Tiny GPS Luggage Tracker

My dad recently lost a luggage which, ofcouse, He couldn't find. What Im wondering is..

Do they make some sort of small GPS Tracker Device which stays on with a long battery life and is really tiny.. and I could put it in my dad's briefcase and even in his wallet.. so, god forbid, if He were to lose them in future I could track 'em down.

The smallest you can get from market is a dog/cat gps tracker that lasts for about a week or so without recharging. It is still quite large for my taste (40x50x20mm or so, so roughly a size of a Zippo Lighter or a matchbox)
