I’ve seen several videos showing similar and each time I am thinking what the architect thought to design the building in a way that you need an industrial climber to put in an AC. This building does not look to be build pre-AC-era too. Is it such an abstruse thought that people might want to install an AC?

They made the original announcement in 11/2024. Pretty cool they gave that much notice. Most companies give 30 days at best. And if you are unlucky your app just gets an update and boom that feature you wanted is gone.
I dug into it more and they started towards this back in 2017. Overall I agree with them. Wireguard is really solid and it’s simplicity makes it a very good choice from my experience. This doesn’t mean OpenVPN is bad… just not as good for most use cases in my opinion.
