I have the amd phenom 2 720 black edition overclocked to 3.7 with the 4th core unlocked. I am using the cooler master v8 and my temps stay under 42 degrees. My question is this;
Is their a better cooler than this one and would a h20 closed loop cooler be a better option?
An H20 would NOT be a better option. And yes there are of course better coolers, the H100, nzxt Kraken etc. There are other fantastic air coolers, but do you need it? Your temps stay under 42 degrees and thats awesome, i'd say upgrade if they hit 70 but this is just a waste of money in my opinion.
i am with bald, unless you are planning on over clocking more 42 is not very high at all
