Hmm .. umm .. Thunderball?
I feel the same about anime, a lot of animes are weird but there are some that are just exceptional. Ghost in the Shell, Attack On Titan, Cowboy Bebop are a few I really enjoyed. Also if you are into sci-fi maybe have a look Planetes.
I liked the Ghost in the Shell movie. Never watched the later series “Stand Alone Complex”. My nephews had me watch Cowboy Bebop and Appleseed and I remember thinking they were pretty good, but can’t remember a damn thing about them, since this was like 20 yrs ago.
The Ghost in the Machine was the most faithful remake I can think of. Most of the A-list actors seem to turn into their own thing, Johanson followed the original.. really cool.
I also enjoyed the Coyboy Bebop done recently, disappointed it didn’t go on. I’ve not seen Appleseed or Attack on Titan.
..oo.. and I’ve go my fingers crossed for the new Street Fighter. The lead was brilliant in Warrior.

I highly recommend Attack On Titan. It’s 4 full seasons, so it will take a while to watch. Don’t watch any reviews or stuff before you watch it because you don’t want story surprises ruined.

Loved Warrior. Hated that it ended after 3 seasons.
