Thoughts on this laptop?

So I recently started working at a very big company as an Installation Tech. They set me up with a HP EliteBook 8470p. I am in love. I don't know why but I love working on it, and I even took it home to type this from it instead of my desktop.

The question I have is, is this laptop worth buying since it's so old? Is there a newer version of this that doesn't cost drastically more than this one? OR if any of you know any good rugged but still business-aimed laptops, let me know!

Only you can make that decision. How much will you use it? What do you have plans to do on your laptop? Do you really need one/a new one? What is your old laptop not doing?
