Thoughts on the Xiaomi Pistons 2?

This is an amazing design AND price! Might be getting this. It looks promising.

Yeah I've seen plenty of reviews from head-fi and such claiming that they are amazing for the price (and it does look pretty cool ) as long as you get the real ones as there's a lot of fake ones floating around. There have however been a small amount of "bad" reviews on every site I've visitrd and I just wanted to get feedback from anyone here that may own it.

Bump ...

I have my second pair now, and they're simply awesome. Incredibly sturdy, great sound, great looks, great price. Basically like everything Xiaomi makes. I've never had earphones that sounded even close to this around this pricepoint. I really think Logan should do a review of the Xiaomi Mi4.

These are a buck cheaper, and not fake.

Ehhh. They look like more of a fashion accessory than a sound device.

Your right that they are partially fashion accessories (which is why I don't intend on buying the gold ones, they are aesthetically pleasing but I wouldn't personally wear them) but the guys over on the head-fi forms have them really good reviews. The $20ish dollar price range is the highest that I will personally ever spend on IEMs. The main reason I asked about these was because everything else in this price range looks horrid (I know theyre going into my ears where I won't see them but I do care about these things)

So this price + decent sound (some say amazing) and aesthetics worth the price? Or is there some thing better for me to put my money into?

I have these, I was looking at the Pistons but ended up getting these since they are only $10 now. They look pretty cool, especially the cord, and feel like they are a lot more expensive than they really are. Sound is comparable to the new Apple earpods but more isolated and slighty more bassy.
