what exactly happened? i didnt get it from the video.
Something happened or else he wouldn't mention channels going down or video downloaders. From that, I'm assuming he's facing legal troubles and is under an NDA, so he can't say he's being sued.
The Right to Repair bill failed and those who lobbied(Apple, Cisco and Xerox) against it are very likely to be starting a lawsuit against every 3rd party repair shop in NY. And they have a shit ton of money so fighting against them is very unrealistic.
I don't understand these crappy laws. If you buy an item its yours to do whatever you want to with it. If you want to buy 100 PS3s and create a biowulf cluster and map the brain so you can download it into a Robot. By gally jee wiz you should be able to.

I wouldn't by apple anyways. Yes I have a Mac book but that was a requirement for a school I was at. I begged them to let me just use a PC but they software they had was proprietary to apple. And guess what? I cannot upgrade it. Everything is solder in. SSD soldered to the board. Memory Soldered to the board. YAY apple

I'm going to do one better, If somebody asks me about an Apple Product I'm going to say "[Product Name] and Apple don't exist" and if they ask why, I'm going to say "Said Company that doesn't exist bullied Louis Rossmann out of business and manipulated the law to make the manufacturer own a monopoly on repair of their products meaning if you buy their products, you don't own it, you just paid for the privilege to use it and I want to lower their mindshare by saying 'they don't exist' because of it."

I think we need to download his entire channel and spread it like a virus on as many ghost channels as possible. Make as many torrents as possible and host it as many places as we can find. They can take the channel down but you know what? Fuck 'em.

The nightmare keeps growing.
There's already people doing that. There's already a Torrent, a mirrored channel, a site with download links and somebody said they were uploading all of his videos to Archive.org . There's a lot of people downloading in this PCMR thread:

The right to repair bill IMHO was an assault on intellectual property rights. Apple is electronic bling for the hollywood elite and deserve my contempt. But their right to keep secrets secret should be protected.
As far as him being shutdown from youtube......Any youtuber would kill for that kind of publicity. Don't see it happening
I think most people here believe in freedom of information.
Could put it in here with any other hardware, component level hacking.
