Thoughts on the GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3

I know it's somewhat an older board now, but from what I understand, it's still pretty good? I just bought one for my build because my old mobo wasn't up to the challenge. How is the bios with this board? I'll miss UEFI :(

Just so you know, the 990FX is the top-of-the-line chipset for the AMD platform. And that board does have EUFI, which they call Touch BIOS. I think it's a pretty good board. Nothing too fancy, but a nice board nonetheless.

The chipset is the reason I went with this board, haha. And it has the rest of the features I want.

I got an open box deal with a guaranteed 30 day refund for 110 dollars. Great deal.

I have a UD3H (intel Z77) and its basolutley amazing, so id assume the same for there AMD board.

Where'd you find this for $110? I was going to purchase the same board for my new build and that's $10 cheaper than what I found it for

I have one so far it's working great, last week my network controller disappeared but as soon as I put in a new NIC it showed back up.

It was an open box offer on newegg- lucky me. Hopefully it all works correctly. If it doesnt, I'm simply going to return it.
