Thoughts on LG 25UM65-P Monitor?

I want a monitor to accompany my old 22" 1920x1080 LG monitor and am thinking of going down the 2560x1080 route instead of the 2560x1440 route as 1440p monitors are either too expensive or at risk of inferring customs charges from shipping from South Korea to the UK. This monitor seems to fit my needs and is currently selling for 190 pounds.

What are you guys thoughts on this monitor for gaming and some productivity?

Does anyone own one? What are your thoughts?

Thanks

I just ordered this

But the LG 25UM65-P seems like a good alternative

Yeah I saw that but I didn't want to deal with customs feom south korea to the UK

I have a 25um64-s, which I have only had for less than a week. I've had it for less than a week, and I have been enjoying it immensely. Games that allow the resolution one way or another are fantastic, not quite an Eyefinity setup, but it does have a feel of having more or less a "peripheral vision" in first person games (to me at least)

I have fiddled with programs such as photoshop, TES Construction Set, and a few other editing programs on it, and the extra space is very convenient.

With basic tasks (such as web browsing and word processing), full screen windows are rather comical, but running programs side-by-side is very useful (I would compare it to running two 4:3 monitors)

Decided to get a 2560x1080 monitor myself, after being reminded of the review done on the Korean Model on here. However I quickly noticed that after import tax that the price was fairly similar to other 'branded' monitors, so unsure of where to head right now.

I'm the same. I think I might stick to the brands as long as a good deal is going. This seems a fair price for an IPS 2560x1080 monitor

Thanks for the review! I think I might go hit buy and try this monitor now

You have to deal with customs when you import stuff on eBay? I'm in the US and I don't have to.
