+1. Already broke 2 of the modular cables that came with my v moda m100. There are certain music stores that will sell headphones modded to have modular cables.
this is sort of the reason i went with wireless bluetooth headphones. i'm sacrificing a bit on sound quality but dear lord I'm terrible with wires. i've gone through a metric-ass ton of headphones where the wires started to degrade or just one bloody headphone working and the other one not working.
But then you wouldn't have to replace your headphones every 3 years! Planned obsolescence baby. It's what keeps the economy going ; )
i guess thats the benefit of it. i want my headphones to last long. all the wired ones haven't lol. right now I've been using Jaybirds Over-the-Ear Headphones i payed 100 dollars 2 years ago. they are still in excellent condition. its okay and the battery life is about 8 hours on a charge.
