Dear tek syndicate,
I really loved my AIAIAI TMA-1 Studio's, however the headband broke twice during the 2 years I've owned them. They sounded plenty decent and they were super light and comfy. However I'm looking for something more sturdy and I think the Mayflower Fostex V3's might be it for me...
But there are 2 things that I do need help on in order to make a decision.
1. I make music... You can listen here if you'd like to get an idea of what I'm looking for http://soundcloud.com/b1kjsh . So as a result I do a lot of mixing and playing instruments and recording stuff. Would you recommend mixing in these?
2. In addition, because I do mix audio I need to be able to A\B tracks, sometimes without a headphone amp cause I may be on the move and I might want to listen to tracks I'm working on but haven't released yet. Is it absolutely mandatory to use these headphones with an Amp?
If either of these questions are no then I'm probably going to have to keep looking... What would you recommend instead?
