They key in between d and g is not working

Hello Everyone, so my f key doesn't work well anymore. I tried 12 times to get that to register. I bought a G710+ on amazon on January 29th. I pulled the keycap to see the damage, assuming there was any. I couldn't see any. When I push down the switch I hear the click and everything but it takes several presses to have it register on the screen.

I irst saw this happen a couple days ago but it was that bad. But this morning it more or less broken completely. No joke to get an f to come up that look 34 presses, I counted...

ANYWAYS my question is this. I cannot return to amazon I am past 30 days. What do I do?

Well, G710+ is logitec ... maybe their support is the way to go?

If not, you can disassembly it to check the solder-joints on the pcb, probably there is a bad joint if the switch itself seems fine.

It's hard to guess what the problem is. Without looking at it I can only really suggest mapping "F" and "f" to your macro buttons until you get it handled.

Logitech support have been really good in my experience, get in contact with them and they should take care of the problem.

Thanks everyone. I probably should have thought of that...

My 710+ had keys die on it too randomly I was really disappointed... I hope it gets resolved for you.

Thanks I hope so too. I registered my product with Logitech and opened a warranty claim so now I guess it's a waiting game.

I'd try cleaning out the switch with some rubbing alcohol and a qtip or some contact cleaner spray.

Unplug the kb first tho

Like cleaning the inside of the switch? aka pushing the qtip into the brown switch?

Yeah. If you have it unplugged and let it dry you can use a fair amount of alcohol

As long as I wont void any warranty, I guess it is worth a shot.
