Thermal Paste?

What's a good brand of thermal paste? If you could post a link to the spicific one on newegg or whatever.

I'm using a i5 cpu and coolermaster cooler. Think this is an ok place to post it?

 Thanks so much!

IC Diamond, Arctic CoolingMX 4,Phobya Hegrease,Noctua NT-H1, And a bunch of others are good, id suggest checking out some roundups and finding whats the cheapest for the performance you want, why exactly do you need better thermal paste ?

I'm a biginer and just wanted a good brand.

Well if you buying an Aftermarket hestsink a lot come with some pretty decent thermal paste, the really good thermal paste will only decrese your temps by 2ish degress so its not something to worry about.

I've always used Arctic Silver or Tuniq.  Both are good, but like Beyondnight said, most aftermarket coolers will have decent thermal paste on them.  It is good to have a tube on hand though, just in case.  just make sure to apply it properly, and stay away from the cheap japanese stuff on ebay...

if your using a cooler master cooler they come with a pretty good thermal paste most of the time

The more important part is how you apply it. Check out Arctic Silver's website for information on how to properly apply thermal paste for your processor. Also look at how to tint the heatsink and processor. Should be on the same page.

Arctic Cooling MX-2. Only $5, and it is very good.

Promilatech PK1 - it's the best thermal compound out there.

Here is a funny article on it. Turns out ketchup is pretty beast.
