Anybody use Startech Thermal Paste as apposzed to Arctic Silver? Is there a difference between the compound and the paste?
Like 1/3 a degree C. I have it in laptops. Its fine. If its cheaper do it.
There will be differences in the composition, but the performance difference will be negligible, we're talking a couple of degrees here, sometimes not even that.

If you're still not sure the Noctua NT-H1 is slightly cheaper than the Arctic Silver and works great as far as I can see.
