The new Tomb Raider for it's 35% sale price?

Just wanted your opinions on if the Rise of the Tomb Raider game is worth the 35% off sale price? I liked the previous game, though found it not really worth the AAA full price premium due to the amount of content and game play time. I do feel like Rise of the Tomb Raider will be getting a permanent price drop soon anyway and they're just putting it on sale now to try and encourage a sales boost.

If you liked the last one you'll like this one, it's really just more of the same with few new mechanics and a bigger (I think) map. I enjoyed it, but I think I liked the last one more.

FX-8350 @ 4.4GHz w/ GTX 770 2GB here. Runs quite poorly, but only in certain areas (Soviet Installation) otherwise looks beautiful. Decent story but had issues with it crashing my display driver only on overclocked graphics cards (mine comes factory overclocked.) Had to use Afterburner to effectively "underclock" my card to get it to run. Nvidia driver updates and game updates have not resolved the issue.

Other than the technical hiccups, once I got it to run I enjoyed the game. Curious to see how it runs on a GTX 1070 once I get one installed on my rig.

Personally I refuse to spend more than $10 for it. I have zero respect for the timed exclusivity bullshit they pulled and I never spend more than $15 on games anyway. Sadly I probably won't be playing this one or any more if they decide to do that again.

I only paid $5 for the previous tomb raider, so I definitely feel like I got my money's worth. Just wondering if this one is worth more. I have a 4690k and 970 so I should have no problem running it

The writing is pretty bad (much worse than 2013 even), but the story is alright. The graphics are amazing too. I liked the level design of the first one more and the puzzles are still pathetic, but the gameplay is enjoyable. vOv

I loved the last one. This one has great graphics and was fun for a few hours, but I found myself getting bored and not going back after that. Maybe in the future I'll finish it.
