The name of an old game

Hello everyone,

As the title indicates, I'm looking for the name of a game that I used to play back in 2003-2004. It's a strategy game where the events happen in space. There are two teams : the Soviets and the USA, each have a base on some planet (Mars I think). The purpose is -as in most strategy games- to gather as much raw material as you can, so you can expand your base and build an army (you can also recycle broken machines in a recycler). And of course defeat your opponent.

I don't think the game was a big title back then, and I'm sure there are better space strategies out there. Still  I think this one reminds me of some old days (aka: my childhood). So, I hope  someone happens to know this game and help me to find it. for whom I'd be very thankful.

Stupid, Stupid !!
Why does this always happen, you google something for an hour you find nothing. Once you post about it and bam it's the first result.
The game I was looking for is Battlezone and it's from Activision released in 1998.

haha ok what i was thinking was more like panzer tanks cept in space.
