i have 2 7970s, for cheaper than this card and they both are running faster than the boost clock of the Ares.

Tl;DR this thing is stupid.

I suppose dual core gpu's are for space saving, i dont see why people would use them otherwise.

its only using ONE pci-e 16x slot. so yeah, its pretty much the same arguement as 2*680s or one 690...
