I have a friend who is running an Intel chip with an Nvidia Quadro card. He is able to run all other games at 60+ FPS, however, The Division seems to crash with the following errors:
DELTA 20000984 and MIKE XXXXXXX
Google results indicate these to be 'server-side' issues. However, recreating the problem is as simple as opening the game and logging in. If it were a server-side issue, I believe that the same issue would occur from another gaming PC within the same geographic area using the same ISP, AKA me.
Since the searches indicated it was a server issue, I assume that it is possible that the transmissions from his client to the server aren't consistent enough, or his traffic is being selectively blocked. Therefore, most troubleshooting has revolved around network connectivity and security. Those steps include:
Disabling the Windows firewall on all profiles (Domain, Private, Public)
Disabling A/V software entirely
Disabling IPv6
Setting DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 on both the PC and the router/gateway
Running ethernet instead of WiFi
Windows clean boot (removing all peripherals, disabling startup items, and non-microsoft services)
Prior to those steps, we had tried:
Updating Windows
Updating the Nvidia drivers
Using older Nvidia drivers
Updating his NIC drivers
Disabling all power saving options(including green ethernet)
I cannot think of anything else to try short of an operating system re-installation. However, I do not believe that will resolve the issue either. In fact, writing this post has made me think of disabling all of those gaming features on his WiFi AP. Perhaps uPnP or some other service is causing the issue.
Any other ideas would be most welcome.
