The Coolest KeyBoard I Have Ever Seen

I WANT ONE

No Linux support, oh well.
Nice concept tho.

Yeah that made me a little sad but I imagine hacking it to learn how it works would not be an issue.

Yeah I guess, but it'd be nice if some vendors actually start to care about other OSes other than windows and OSX.

With those 2 OS's there is financial incentive. Venders only care about their bottom line :/

Well its a business not an art project. It could be an amiga dominated world right now if they weren't so damn touchy feely and sued atari on their ass.

As I saod, someone will hack it in no time.

The keyboard looks a little small in size. I like the features but not sure it is a big enough keyboard for me.

I dunno. Kinda just reminds me of the Razer Deathstalker Ultimate.

I've seen that video and I was literally drooling over it but being realistic can only be useful as a secondary keyboard to launch all sorts of macros for productivity purpose. I can't see myself using it to play a game or write on it, due to the really flat keys and shallow travel. Would be nice something like a standard keyboard with keys all made out of little displays but a normal tall concave keycap would distort the image too much and reduce the readibility too much. I guess is a nice idea but not for the everyday use.

Thats exactly what I want it for. A while back I managed to develop a little side script for synergy ( http://symless.com/synergy/ ) that would allow for 2 keyboards in use and one would be the writing keyboard and the other a template. The template would do macros, game loadouts, mouse sensitivity, everything. Problem is that synergy can crash and fuck it all up. The only way I got it to work was using PS/2 and USB as separate tagged buses / keystrokes read differently on each, but again, the crashes. I could probably use it now, but this would make it a lot easier.

Crazy Russian keyboard manufacturers, I have been drooling at them since "maximus". I have seen it on their website for 1500 dollars... the 550 amazon price seems not so bad.
