Which brand of Card do u like the most give your explanation
arg, already a topic on this. whatever, i like nvidia, they seem stable, but right now ati is kicking ass. if i got a card right now it would be the 4850
The price for nvidia's newest top of the line cards are ridiculous.. Im going to have to say ATI.
as am i
nvidi is slowly dying...
ati's has a better linup at the moment, but that dosnt mean nvidia is dying, nvidias been ahead for years i doubt being down for a few months is going to kill them, especially since nvidia has a lot of loyalty and name recognition. with nvidias price drops i kinda doubt that ati will even make its prediction to control over 40%of the market by the end of the year. the card market will keep fliping. maby im wrong and nvidias dying, but i hope not because these companies battling to have the best card is the only thing keeping the prices down and the new gpus coming.
i like nvidia, not a fan of red, but as everyone has and is going to be saying, ATI is kicking ass right now, which is why i chose the 4870 for my friends build, its the first ati card i'll be handling, only been handling nvidia cards before it
ATI looks like they are gonna be the leading brand right now. They are cheaper and perform nearly just as well as the nvidia cards that cost way more. Didn't nvidia drop their prices after the release of the 4870?
yh ati cant wait for there hd 4870 X2 now that will kick nvidias backside back to the dark ages
we are all screwed if either one dies, competition is a great way for companies to give you a good product for you money..and you'd never be able to get a card like the 4870 for under 300 bucks 6 months ago its a good time for enthusiasts ..even the 9800 gtx is pretty well priced for what you get
I dont think theres any doubt that what you get now is WAAAAY better than what anyone would have expected ever
yeah thats true
I have been a nvida fanboy ever since i have been researching computer parts but now i am thinking about geting an ati card
it seems everyone is wanting ati. the only problem is for that all of the extreme builders out their that means building a whole new system that has crossfire. if i were asus or gigabyte right now i would be jumping up and down in excitement. they are some of the few companies that support crossfire AND intel cpu's (not including intel). They are right where the money is.
yeha the prices are pretty low..
last week i picked a a 8800 gt for freaken 99$
LOL
cheap much?
