The BBC Incurring the Wrath of Rockstar Games (Take Two Interactive)

Never a dull moment with England's BBC: it seem the British broadcaster has incurred the wrath of Rockstar Games (Take Two Interactive) over the 'trademark infringement' of its product Grand Theft Auto.

The BBC is in the process of producing a documentary about the back-story to the Grand Theft Auto game (starring Daniel Radcliffe, and Bill Paxton, who play the warring protagonists: Sam Howser, and Jack Thompson {the Christian lawyer who sought to have the game banned})

Rockstar Games are wailing about their 'trademark' being misused in a manner unbecoming by the BBC in creation of their documentary (due to air later in 2015)

The interesting thing is that Rockstar North that made GTA is a Scottish studio...

In fact GTA as a whole was entirely British/English. Only the parent company and some spin offs were made by other parts of take two/Rockstar.

What might have actually been an interesting, relatively unbiased, documentary on a video game may get destroyed by lawyers.

Typical red tape will follow this documentary I'm sure.
