I don't use windows, kay? I don't touch it. Lately though I think my GPU has been overheating or something because windows crashes out when I use it. Oddly enough so does KDE in linux but only after an update that I did. I DID have my CPU overclocked but I don't know as that would cause issues per se UNLESS it slowly gets unstable?
Come to think of it I had some odd issues the other day AFTER I overclocked. Possible issue right ther?
Well electrical resistance increases with heat - so maybe an overclock that starts out stable becomes unstable when your heat stabilizes? Try adding more volts, or post the windows event logs here and ill translate them into normal speak for you

I just removed the OC. Lets see what happens xD
Recently had the same thing happen to me in Windows 10 with a gtx780. Computer would crash after a few hours of gaming. CPU is 4670k overclocked to 4.6. It has been overclocked for the entire time I have had this build.
I have never had a BSOD with this system under normal operation. After removing the overclock, no more crashes. After several days of normal operation, I overclocked again, this time I raised the voltage from 1.25 to 1.28. So far, no problems. Tested using a x.264 rendering stress test, while running Valley to dump more heat into the loop, no problems.
I did update my graphics driver about a week before the problem started. Maybe has something to do with it?
