Thank You Logan, Wendell and Qain

In 2012 I found your videos on Youtube, I started remembering and reminiscing about how much i was in love with hardware, software and networking. At that point i had totally been out of the loop since High School, 7 years, a few generations of Intel Chips had gone by and the industry had changed extremely. I was kicking around the idea of going back to school and try to get my IT degree, but never really went through with it. My girlfriend convinced me to go to my local community college here in the Chicagoland suburbs, i had no idea how much i still remembered and not only did i surprise my teachers but myself as well. I completed my courses with a solid 4.0

The company i work at recently changed to a different Company Director, some one i always spoke well with, and knew that i was a techie. Little did i know that behind the scenes he was working to bring me onto the IT team at our company. This February i received a call from the head of our HR asking to meet with me, she said "your outta here tomorrow, see you at the headquarters." HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So thank you Logan, Wendell and Qain, had i not stumbled upon your videos and revived my love with technology,l i would still be working in the printing room of our company. Thank you, and i hope this inspires someone else to try and make it in the business.

I'm pretty much a server hound, i monitor and maintain the well being of all the servers in my company. The other day one of our firewalls went out, fun fun fun... send the new guy! lol

I don't know if you are a Linux guy or not, but I would highly suggest learning as much as you can. Seems Linux is the future of things. That and it couldn't hurt to have the knowledge. Super happy for you too.

im familiar with popular distros like mint, ubuntu, open suse & fedora. I'm no linux pro but i can find my way around pretty well. Windows is my native habitat.

I have a Mac, and work with Macs at work, but i don't like them lol.
