Testing distros again

taking the time today to test out a few live distros today for the heck of it.
first up
Spiral linux:

based on debian 11
supports ham radio in the software repositories.
has a vaguely android appearance and feel so its easy to figure out.
uses both the software store and synaptic.
while i am a menu based user, this distro has a comfortable interface most users can get used to

Ultramarine linux:
similar to spiral but more feature rich.
supports ham radio.
easy to use.
this distro also has a comfortable interface most users can get used to

cachyos kde.
does not support ham radio.
kde interface but you can choose the de version from the download site ( distrowatch)
more developer oriented in structure.
is not difficult to use.
My overall opinion, while others may not like it, i do like how its laid out.

all three see wireless networks quickly and configure easy.

evaluating live distros, you must remember that the live cd/dvd will run a lot slower than the actual installed os because you are limited by the read write speed of the optical drive.
a distro on usb will run faster but still not as fast as an actual install.

this i understand and take into consideration when doing an eval on them

i will be testing more later and will post reviews
