I have been working on the site for a few months now designing it, coding the billing system, api and researching servers and setting them up and now its ready at least I think its ready. But before it goes live I need some help testing it out to make sure every thing is working properly.
The website is HaiThar.net and it provides mumble servers you can use the promo code "teksyndicate" to get some free mumble servers to help test.
In particular I am hoping some people will test out:
The API
HaiViewer - Channel Viewer Protocol client
Control panel
Stress test the mumble server in all three locations.
But I am also hoping to hear your thoughts and comments on the design and implementation what can I do to improve it? What would you do to improve it?
I wasn't necessarily asking for penetration testing but rather beta testers, really I just want people to use the service for a while, report any bugs and tell me what they think.
As far as pentesting I thought you where offering and my response saying I would like pentesting would most likely be enough to show you have implied permission to access my server, in the same way that running an open http daemon gives you implied permission to access said daemon. I have reported many bugs and exploits to developers for free some I have even submitted with patches, it is quite a common thing so I don't feel it is an unreasonable request.
Why the hell not?! Free Mumble and all i have to do is give feedback. Done. Also, loving your UI, seems like someone just getting in to large scale voice comms could navigate it really easily.
Good Job Mate! If 4 copies of LOIC running at 500,000 threads couldn't take it down, I highly doubt anything of a standard or high power could take it down. My ISP called me before your server broke. Hazza!
