[tentatively SOLVED] Display freaking out after update graphics drivers

I recently bought a 324k and it had a few flashes every now and then. Wendell himself said that it was likely a problem with the cable. But after I updated drivers, it got way worse. I don't even think that it is the same flashing as what was happening before (it looks slightly different). It might be a hardware problem with either the cable or the monitor itself, but since it started happening constantly when I installed the latest gpu drivers, I assume that it is hardware. I tried using a different dp out on my gpu, but that didn't help any. I'm at a loss about what to do about it. I tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling the ones that were previously working without issue, but it didn't help. It is possible that these aren't the drivers that I was previously using, but I am pretty sure. Sorry about being all over the place with my wording. I am a bit flustered.

EDIT: Video of what I am talking about. It happens more or less constantly now, but is affected by what is on the screen. Could it be an issue with a setting in the drivers?
P.s. This video is slowed down to 50% speed.

EDIT: I was messing with the settings when I enabled overdrive in the control center. That appears to have solved it. I think that MSI Afterburner was trying to apply my standard overclock at start up and the drivers didn't have it enabled, leading to some weirdness. So I believe it is fixed...... but we will see.
