As I've watched the tek for sometime already, one thing is clear: you care about privacy. But I'm having a problem with that:
First of all, I guess that many users that visit this site, use some kind of blocking software, so google analytics can't catch them. So is there really a point having somekind of analytics? And there is open source alternative, that isn't owned by a giant corporation: Piwik.
Then we can see googleapis.com. A CDN that provides the javascript to get the site working and custom fonts. In this case, those both could be locally hosted. They don't use that much bandwidth, right?
I run a couple small websites, and the first thing I make sure is that no unnecessary CDNs are used. If I did, it would make me feel like a traitor to the visitors.
My simple question is: why do you use them? :(
