Tegra K1 Demo

Here's the video. Check it out.

With this kind of realistic effects, imagine what TES 6 would look like. At 4K even. =) Click here for the link.

Sorry, a part of me is very giddy right now.

Couple that with the face rendering technology Nvidia demoed in 2013, and we've got a recipe for EPIC looking games.

So much win. Pardon me, I'll be right back as soon as I stop screaming like a schoolgirl and flailing my arms in joy.

now the real limit towards all that proformance is the software, android. They need something that can use all that power. you see frame rate drops too much in the demos with serious sam 3, even though it CAN RUN the amazing games doesn't mean that it can run them smoothly.

god tim sweeney is awkward.

that video while it looked nice. looked choppy when moving around.

even though it does supposeively have half the power for a gtx 650 ti, it still isn't enough to run games smoothly :l gg nice try nvidia but the future isn't here.

Well, how many people game on tablets, smartphones and other devices? That's where this is aimed for. It's a mobile chip, for mobile devices.

What I'm saying is that while the console peasants and mobile <we_must_create_a_term_for_them_later>, Nvidia is going to bring us some epic PC performance in their GeForce GTX line of cards, especiall the 800 series.

I'm hopeful for this, I really am. Especially if this kind of gaming *software* makes it into the hands of developers, which can then use it to make games look better. =) Heck, even if it's optimized for Nvidia at first, it'll eventually be optimized for AMD.

I'm glad that Nvidia is moving into so many different industries. This looks like it will be a big push for the mobile industry to increase graphics performance. One thing I didn't think I heard was possible battery life/efficiency of this chip. I am excited overall though.
