Is it just me, or is anyone else having low fps problems in TF2 in the last few months.
I've read the forums on steam about this, but I'd like to hear some other opinions.
When i first played TF2, i was using an ATI X1300.... o_O
Now, I have an ATI Radeon Diamond HD3650, and I'm getting worse fps.
I also bought a new power supply and more RAM.
This has been bugging me for a while now.
Heres my specs...
Windows XP Service Pack 2
DEll Optiplex 320
2GB of RAM
ATI HD3650
500 Watt Power supply
Pentium D 2.8 GHz
...All my other steam games work fine. (all the HL2's, CS:S, DOD:S, etc...)
I also tired a nvidia geforce 8500gt, and it was lower... >.<

Hmm maybe...i have gotten lag spikes from time to time but i never thought twice about them.

Its runs in the 70's, and as soon as other players are nearby,
the fps drops to the low 20's.
It even drops if i'm looking at a wall, and not actually seeing the players.
...I'm really stumped.

try doing that game defragmentation feature in steam... not sure if it'll help but who knows O_o

maybe its because the game is scared of your avatar (this is the last one, i swear, i just had to say it)
nice ace, try changing the quality settings, and if nothing happens then its not ur hardware. is ur ping high? or is it just ur fps.
meh, i've tried changing the quality settings to low, medium, etc.
My ping is fine tho, i guess it is my hardware. >.<
