Would personally be really interested in a video about Tape Drives.
Also show us some more retired server stuff and what we can do with them.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a tape drive video too.
Their storage is pretty crazy LTO 8 can reach 12 TB raw or 30TB compressed.

While I’d be interested in this as well I think the only stuff used in the industry are big tape libraries at this point that cost like half a million upwards. Unfortunately I don’t think that is in the Patreon Buget 
Anyone have any pulled from service they can send me? The biggest retired from service tape drive I have is only 2tb . Sad.
If I was still an IT Manager at my old company I could have sent you boxes of stuff. However I am not there anymore I am afraid

We have one of those IBM library pod things. Oh and a couple books shelves worth of tape drives at my work.
