Taking the next step-up in headphones: Audeze EL-8 open-back?

So I currently have Audio Technica’s ATH-A900X, V-Moda’s Crossfade M100 and Fostex’s TH500RP (what I use mainly for music and games at home). Now I’m eyeing the Audeze EL-8 open-back model so I was wondering if any headphone junkies here on the forums have any experience with them or if I can get some recommendations in the same price range ($700), or if its even worth it lol.

I just got a Schiit Modi Multibit and Vali 2 with EH-6922 Gold tubes, sounding overall good so far with my Fostex cans but highs are a little harsh. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! Looks like im headed down the right path with these. Only other headphones I was looking at were the HiFiman HE 400i, which also have stellar reviews.
