My current weapon of choice is the Canon 70D. I've had it for about a year now and I really like it. I shoot the kit lens of 18 - 135mm STM. It's a nice lens that's very versatile, but just doesn't have the quality of the L lenses (obviously). I have a friend who is a professional photographer, Kenton Rowe, who happens to shoot with Canon just like me. He has let me utilize his lenses, and let me tell you what..... I'm in love. I particularly like the fish-eye lens he has, but he's also got one of those nice $10k telephoto lenses for wildlife photography. I'm always looking for ways to get fun pictures. I recently downloaded the program called RegiStax, which lets you stack pictures of the moon to create astonishingly sharp photos. I've also used StarStax, and I have the full Adobe Suite (Lightroom CC, Photoshop CC, etc CC.).
I'm excited that tek is going to start doing these tutorials. I follow several people on Youtube like DigitalRev and Tony Northrup.
I've also bought the digital book from a guy called Photo Extremist. He's got some cool photo hacks to take your special photography to the next level.
