Hey, so I have this NAS it's a Western Digital My Book World and I wanna take it off my network and use it as an External HDD. I was going to use this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CKIFPQY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2KUZVNQ9LP7N9 to hook it up will this work? I think it would, but I'm not sure. Thanks!
That will just put it on its own network. You'll probably have to do some manual configuration, but in theory it would work...
